We are two sisters, Alice and Connie who, with five beautiful children between us, know a fair bit about babies, toddlers and young children. Becoming a mum has definitely been the most challenging yet greatest moment in our lives and we want to help make your life a little easier. Being parents, we know that providing for our babies can be overwhelming and a bit of a whirlwind task. There is a wide range of products on the market and often it is difficult to know what is useful and what is purely gimmick. Over the years we have tried, tested and spent a vast amount of time and money (much to our husbands disapproval!) researching and buying children’s products, some useful, some not so.
We set up Onco, to be the voice or resource of parents who have been there, done that or wished we had that particular item – to make your lives a little bit more comfortable and easier. So whether you are about to be first time parents or have young children already, we are here to help you feel confident that you have purchased the right items.
Many of our products and recommendations, have been or are being used in our homes and we want to share these products with you. If we don’t stock the product ourselves, we give you the option of where you can purchase the product from. We are here to help you, as parents to research, choose and source quality products that we feel will be beneficial, not only for your baby but products that you will enjoy using too. We do the work for you so you can enjoy and create beautiful memories with your precious little ones.
As well as finding the right product, we also give thought to the environmental, health and safety aspects of the product. We are on our journey to being plastic free particularly when it comes to what goes into our children’s mouths and so, where possible, we try to source products for Onco that are plastic free and eco-friendly. With that in mind, you will find that we do not sell plastic products in our Feeding section, and if we do, it is minimal.
